Rehabilitation Technician Position Overview
The Rehabilitation Technician provides support to licensed staff through a variety of activities, including assisting in delivery of therapy services, set up and clean up of workspaces, preparing records, auditing charts and handling documents, and mail, performing miscellaneous tasks to improve therapist productivity. Performs scheduler/receptionist duties, inventory control and ordering supplies, including in satellite locations.
HS Diploma or equivalent
Preferred experience in the following
o Experience in a variety of work settings.
o Previous experience as a CNA or rehab tech. Prior experience with Asante.
o Previous clerical experience.
Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) certified by the American Heart Association.
Preferred Licensure or Certifications-
o CNA or equivalent licensure (e.g. EMT, RT, LPN, MA)
o Certified Fitness Instructor (CFI) by the National Federation of Professional Trainers (NFPT)
Ability to follow directions and problem-solve individually and within a team setting.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage time well.
Occassional weekend work and relief for other rehab techs.
Excellent critical thinking skills and inter-personal communication skills.
Must be able to communicate effectively with other team members.
Computer skills. Excel skills; experience with Epic/Chartview preferred.
Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
