Nurse Practitioner - Trauma NP
We are seeking a Trauma Nurse Practitioner at
Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center in Medford, Oregon
The Trauma Nurse Practitioner supports the Trauma Medical Team at Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center (ARRMC) in Medford, OR, a 378-bed state-of-the-art regional referral center featuring the latest medical technology. Partnering with a team of 8 Trauma Surgeons as well as the Trauma Program Team, the Trauma NP will ensure continuity of care to inpatients on the trauma service. This is a newly created position to support our Trauma Medical Team and our Trauma Program in our new Level II Trauma Center designation. The ARRMC Trauma Program logged 605 traumas in 2017 with the anticipation of even further growth in light of the Level II designation. Our Emergency Services department currently has over 50,000 visits per year and serves more than 600,000 residents throughout 9 counties in Southern Oregon and Northern California.

Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program is required
Minimum 2 years Emergency Department or Critical Care RN experience is required
Secondary language skills, Spanish preferred
Previous decision making responsibilities preferred
License / Certification: Nurse Practitioner (NP) licensed by Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) and licensed by the Oregon Board of Medical Examiners (OBME). Must obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges - this includes but is not limited to, holding position-specific certifications/memberships as determined by Asante Medical Staff team (i.e. ACLS, BLS, PALS, etc.); Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs; Provider shall meet all qualifications to participate in hospital's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.
