Nurse Practitioner - Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
The Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) provides care to neonates and infants within the guidelines of the Oregon State Board of Nursing scope of practice, utilizing standards of advanced practice. The NNP will work in collaboration with the Neonatologists to cover daily examination, care planning and follow through care for infants in the NICU. The NNP will communicate with families as to infants progress and focus on family participation in infants care.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience working in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Must demonstrate strong clinical and communication skills.
Education: Graduation from an accredited RN School of Nursing and Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) program.
Licensure/Certification: Registered Nurse (RN) licensed by Oregon State Board of Nursing. Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) certification through the National Certification Corporation of Obstetric, Gynecological and Neonatal Nursing Specialties. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certified by the American Heart Association (AHA).
