The Recruiting Assistant Position Overview

The Recruiting Assistant at Asante supports the Talent Acquisition team by keeping the process organized, and actively maintaining clear lines of communication with recruiters, hiring managers, candidates and interviewers. By providing great customer service and smoothly managing logistics, you'll contribute to the overall success of our high functioning, collaborative HR team while helping to build the future of Asante through an outstanding candidate experience.

As a Recruiting Assistant at Asante, you will have the opportunity to:

Support the Recruiting team with recruiting processes including scheduling interviews, organizing candidate travel arrangements, processing reimbursement checks and managing reference checks

Schedule pre-employment screenings and meet with new hires to finalize paperwork and collect required documents

Re-imagine and implement process change that impacts the candidate experience and candidate hospitality during interviews, on-boarding, and relocation.

Verify new hire data and track progress of background checks and all pre-employment screenings for clearance prior to start date

Act as liaison between hiring managers, recruiters, and candidates to provide a smooth on-boarding process

Work closely with the HR team to improve our current hiring and on-boarding processes

Associate's degree in business, human resources, or related area or the equivalent in education and experience is required

Bachelor's degree in a related field, preferred

Education and/or training in employment laws and fair practices, preferred


5 or more years progressive clerical and computer experience in a business setting or the equivalent is required

Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook required

Human Resources experience, preferred

Database experience, preferred

Advanced Excel experience, preferred

Experience with metrics and reporting, preferred

Required Skills

Excellent data entry, grammar, communication, and computer skills

Ability to organize and prioritize within realm of duties and to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously

Excellent problem solving ability and the ability to meet deadlines

Experience compiling data from multiple sources

Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy

Strong analytical and math skills and ability to work with numbers and statistics
