Position Summary

Asante Three Rivers Medical Center (ATRMC) in Grants Pass is a community hospital that offers a wide range of high-quality medical care to residents of Southern Oregon. The 125-bed hospital combines the small hospital feel with the high-tech capabilities of a modern facility.

The EEG Tech for the Cardiopulmonary department performs high quality, personalized care in diagnostic testing involving electroencephalograms, evoked potentials, hearing screens, and sweat chloride studies. This role may require cross-training in setting up holter monitors and event monitors, scanning holter studies, and conducting tilt table testing.

Qualifications

Education

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience demonstrating the ability to effectively communicate as needed for the position is required

• Will be required to complete Asante's Basic Cardiac Rhythms course and to pass an annual Asante Monitor Tech exam

Experience

• While no previous EEG Tech experience is required, previous direct patient care experience such as Medical Assistant, CNA, or Cardiac Monitor Tech is preferred

Licensure/Certifications

• BLS: Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider certified by the American Heart Association (AHA) is required upon start
• REEGT: Registered EEG Technician, preferred
