A Social Worker at the Cancer Center is an integral part of an interdisciplinary teamhelping patients, families, and caregivers cope with cancer and the many challenges it brings.This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate and work in a team environment with a focus on patient and family-centered care. The successful candidate will utilize their expert lens to perform comprehensive psychosocial spiritual assessments, provide supportive counseling, internal and external resource coordination, provide advocacy and support for vulnerable populations, provide complex case consultation, facilitate support groups, serve as a resource for staff, and have program development experience.



  • Master of Social Work is required


  • 2 years of social work practice, or student practicum, is required


  • ODL: Possession of a valid Oregon Driver's Licensemaybe required, with proof of safe driving record for the past 10 years, and proof of insurance
  • LCSW: Licensed Clinical Social Worker, preferred
  • LMSW: Licensed Master's Social Worker, preferred
