Position Summary

A Registered Nurse is a professional caregiver responsible and accountable for his/her practice for assigned patient(s). Utilizing the nursing process, the RN delivers superb health care in a compassionate manner, is committed to excellence, and empowered to streamline and improve operations. In addition, the RN will be the first responder to possible adverse contrast reactions, in both CT and MRI. They will assist in radiology procedures andperform related work as required. May also have other duties, working withtechnical staff with regards to patient care and/oroffice duties.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred

Experience

  • 2 years recent MRI experience, required
  • IV Competency

  • Port Access Competency
  • Training on the hypersensitivity reaction protocol and internal response processes.

Licensure/Certifications

  • RN: Registered Nurse licensed by Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) required upon start
  • BLS: Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider certified through the American Heart Association (AHA) required upon start
