Position Summary

Asante is looking for a dynamic, service-oriented executive to serve as its next Senior Vice President (SVP) and Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). Reporting to the new Chief Executive Officer, this is an extraordinary opportunity for a talented, energetic, strategic human resources executive to elevate human resources and build a strategic human capital platform for a leading healthcare system. A Fortune/Merative Top 15 performer for the past decade, Asante serves southern Oregon through three hospitals, Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center in Medford (378 beds), Asante Three Rivers Hospital in Grants Pass (125 beds) and Asante Ashland Community Hospital in Ashland (49 beds), Asante Physician Partners and the Asante Foundation. Asante is also an active partner in Asante Health Network, a Clinically Integrated Network (800 physicians) that has been established to accept risk. Asante has approximately 6,000 employees.

The SVP/CHRO will be an instrumental part of the senior leadership team and will lead by example to bring stability and consistency to the function. The SVP/CHRO will identify a leadership structure, assess talent gaps and invest in the development of their team. They will demonstrate significant focus and effective leadership around Asante's culture and workforce initiatives.

Candidates should have a minimum of ten years' senior management experience in a large, sophisticated organization known for its excellence in the Human Resource function. Union experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

Education

  • Required: Master's degree in Business or Human Resources Management.

Experience

  • Minimum 10 years of senior management experience in a large, sophisticated organization known for its excelling in the HR function.
  • Union experience is preferred
