ITS Supervisor - Desktop Services

Additional Position Details: FTE: 1.000000 | Full Time | Primarily Mon - Fri / 8AM - 5PM | Hybrid work onsite and at home

Position Summary

The ITS Supervisor is responsible for staff-level leadership and supervision within the ITS Department. Duties including scheduling, system go-live and support, shift assignments, systems queue monitoring and incident assignments. The Supervisor provides hour-to-hour and day-to-day leadership and supervision for Systems Engineers, Systems Analysts, ITS Trainers and Team Leads. ITS Supervisors will assist with implementations, upgrades, and support processes as well as support of other application teams. This position is also involved with providing technologies that support Health Information Exchanges, Web based systems and data sharing which assist in strengthening relationships and connectivity with our community providers. The Supervisor provides management and support for reporting and procedure development. May be required to support a variety of off hours and at a variety of locations and may include on-call work.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent combination of education and or experience (meaning at least 4 years of additional experience if no degree), is required.
  • Master's Degree in Business, Healthcare, IT, or related field, preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years progressively responsible experience in an IT, healthcare, and/or clinical environment dealing with the implementations, support of clinical and/or financial systems, or working directly with desktop and related systems and supporting end users of these devices is required.

For this ITS Desktop Services Supervisor role, the following qualifications are highly desired:

  • Experience in desktop configuration management, including Active Directory Group Policy, and configuration management tools such as Microsoft Systems Center Configuration Manager and Windows Server Update Services.
  • Experience with Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) and Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) system management.
  • Direct supervisory experience.
  • Work experience in a healthcare environment.
  • Project management experience.

Preferred Certifications

  • Certification or Proficiency in area of specialty.
  • Microsoft (MTA, MCSA, MCSE), (CompTIA A+, Network+, Server+, Linux+, Healthcare IT Tech), ITIL/ITMS/KMS, and other relevant IT industry certifications.
