Supv CT & MRI ARRMC

The Supervisor of MRI & CT ARRMC Position Overview

The Supv of MRI & CT ARRMC performs professional service and supervises/evaluates the professional and support staff of the assigned imaging areas. Coordinates scheduling of patients and staff. Performs various Computerized Technology (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and/or Radiologic Imaging procedures that require independent and professional judgment. Evaluates resulting exams for quality. Provides patient care. Assumes responsibility for designated assignments.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • Bachelors preferred (not required)

Experience

  • 5 years' experience at the level of staff for CT / Radiology / MRI. 2 years supervisory experience

Licensure/Certifications

Required:

  • BLS: Basic Life Support
  • OBMI Radiography: Licensed in Radiography by the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI)

Preferred:

  • Licensed in Radiography by the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) with certification in Computed Tomography (CT)
  • OR Licensed in Radiography by the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) with certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR)
  • If the license by the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) is in transition of renewal, the certification part of the license may need to be verified by the appropriate national agency: ARRT, ARDMS, ARMRIT, CCI or NMTCB
