Position Summary

The Food Production Supervisor plans, organizes, executes, and controls work activities of Hospitality Service personnel. In this role, the Supervisor supports the policies and procedures of Asante Health System; maintains the highest possible quality standards while providing cost effective food preparation and kitchen operations; and meets or exceeds the market, community, patient, and hospital expectations while maintaining JCAHO, regulatory, and budget requirements.

Qualifications

Education

  • Equivalent comparable combination of formal training at a culinary institute required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Food Service field, preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of institutional or service environment culinary experience required.
  • At least 2 years of management or supervisory experience required.

Certifications

  • Oregon Food Handler Card issued by an agency approved by Oregon Department of Health or a valid food manager training certificate is required.
