Nursing Clinical Instructor (Adjunct Faculty Pool - RCC)

Help build our team of the future as an adjunct faculty with Rogue Community College! This instructor will teach part-time in the Nursing department at the Health Professions Center in White City (Table Rock Campus), while lab/clinical instruction will take place in hospital and other settings both in Grants Pass and Medford.

The instructor is responsible for implementation of assigned nursing clinical courses, providing direct supervision and assessing progress of assigned nursing students in a hospital or other clinical setting. Other responsibilities include participating in program faculty meetings, maintaining college standards regarding professionalism, record keeping and instruction within the faculty team of the nursing program.

The schedule is Monday and Tuesday, 0615 to 1245 and begins on January 8, 2023.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing, preferred (or exception as allowed by Oregon State Board of Nursing Division 21 rules). RN with associate degree actively working toward bachelor's or master's degree in Nursing will be considered with OSBN permission.

Licenses:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensed by Oregon State Board of Nursing required upon start.
  • If required to drive on behalf of the college, must possess a valid Oregon Driver License and provide proof of an acceptable driving record.

Experience:

  • At least two years of recent full-time medical-surgical acute care nursing experience, required.
  • Broad clinical and teaching experience, preferred.
