Additional Position Details: FTE: 0.90 | Full Time | 3rd Shift - Nights, 1845-0715 (6:45 pm to7:15am)

As a Patient Safety Monitor at Asante, you will have the opportunity to earn extra money (shift differentials) for swing, night, and weekend hours:

• $1.16 extra for working between 3:00pm - 11:00pm
• $2.00 extra for working between 11:01pm and 7:00am
• $0.99 extra for working weekend hours

Position Summary

The Patient Safety Monitor primarily assists with providing a safe environment to a specific patient through visual observation. The need for a Patient Safety Monitor is initiated and ordered by the attending physician or per hospital policy and in this role, will be responsible for providing customer service to the patient and as well as notifying the appropriate primary nurse and/or charge nurse of safety issues or concerns.

Qualifications

Experience

• Previous work or volunteer experience doing customer service type tasks, such as answering questions and communicating information is required

Certifications/Courses

• BLS : Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider certified by American Heart Association (AHA) is required upon start
• Asante Crisis Intervention course must be completed within 30 days of hire
• Asante Safe Patient Handling course must be completed within 30 days of hire
