Registered Nurse ARRMC (Hospice Services)

Additional Position Details: Union Position | FTE: 0.7 | Part Time | Swing and Night Shifts

Position Details: This position will be covering Josephine County and will work 7 fifteen hour shifts per pay period. Shift is 5pm to 8am. Employee will be paid straight time from 5pm to 1:30am, after 1:30am employee is on standby and paid per call back policy.

Hospice nurses see patients where they live, so have a great deal of autonomy, but also work closely with a highly skilled interdisciplinary team. As a Hospice RN at Asante, you will:

  • Support families at end of life
  • Be organized with good communication skills and work well as a member of an interdisciplinary team
  • Be an innovative thinker
  • Work autonomously throughout Jackson and Josephine Counties



  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing, preferred


  • RN experience in an acute care hospital, home health, and/or outpatient oncology setting required
  • Excellent communication and assessment skills required
  • Hospice, Home Health, and/or private duty experience, preferred
  • ACE's training experience beneficial
  • Recent home health and/or long-term care experience beneficial


  • RN: Registered Nurse licensed by Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) required upon start
  • BLS: Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider certified through the American Heart Association (AHA) required upon start
  • Possession of a valid Driver's License with proof of safe driving record for the past ten years and proof of insurance may be required

Preferred Certifications

  • CHPN: Certified Hospice Palliative Nurse
  • CMSRN: Certified Medical Surgical RN
  • HNC: Holistic Nurse Certified
  • WCC: Wound Care Certified
  • COCN: Certified Ostomy Care Nurse
  • MSN RN-BC: Medical Surgical Nurse RN Board Certified
