Hospital Administrator
Position Summary
The Asante Ashland Community Hospital (AACH) Hospital Administrator serves as a pivotal member of the Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center (ARRMC) executive team responsible for overseeing the operational and clinical aspects of AACH. This role requires a unique blend of nursing expertise and administrative acumen to ensure the efficient delivery of high-quality patient care while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Provides clinical oversight through providing leadership and guidance to nursing staff and clinical departments to ensure adherence to best practices and standards of care.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and protocols to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements, including licensure, accreditation, and quality standards.
- Monitor financial performance metrics, analyzing variances and implementing strategies to improve profitability and cost containment.
- Contribute to the development and execution of strategic initiatives and long-term plans to support organizational growth and sustainability.
Position Qualifications
Experience
- 5 or more years management experience in healthcare leadership roles is required.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in a related field is required - with a Bachelor's in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
Licensure
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing preferred.
- FACHE certification preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong understanding of healthcare operations, clinical workflows, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, including strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making.
- Proficiency in financial management, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the healthcare field.
