Hospital Administrator

Position Summary

The Asante Ashland Community Hospital (AACH) Hospital Administrator serves as a pivotal member of the Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center (ARRMC) executive team responsible for overseeing the operational and clinical aspects of AACH. This role requires a unique blend of nursing expertise and administrative acumen to ensure the efficient delivery of high-quality patient care while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provides clinical oversight through providing leadership and guidance to nursing staff and clinical departments to ensure adherence to best practices and standards of care.
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and protocols to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements, including licensure, accreditation, and quality standards.
  • Monitor financial performance metrics, analyzing variances and implementing strategies to improve profitability and cost containment.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of strategic initiatives and long-term plans to support organizational growth and sustainability.

Position Qualifications

Experience

  • 5 or more years management experience in healthcare leadership roles is required.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is required - with a Bachelor's in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

Licensure

  • Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing preferred.
  • FACHE certification preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong understanding of healthcare operations, clinical workflows, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, including strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making.
  • Proficiency in financial management, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the healthcare field.
