Position Summary

The Asante Outpatient Center (AOC) is a state-of-the-art clinic designed to consolidate specialty services. This environmentally sustainable facility includes orthopedic and sports medicine, general and colorectal surgery, urology, rehabilitation, laboratory, cardiopulmonary, X-ray, urgent care, and the new outpatient surgery center. The outpatient surgery center provides care for those needing surgical services that do not require an overnight stay in the hospital. Our new surgical suites feature the latest technology in a comfortable, healing environment. Types of surgeries provided at this location include general, orthopedic, urological, and ear, nose and throat procedures.

The AOC is open Monday through Friday from 0600 - 1800 and closed for all holidays.

Procedural Sedation Call is required.

As a PACU RN at Asante Outpatient Center in Grants Pass, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Work with an excellent team of nurses and techs to provide optimal patient centered care
  • Be a part of a continually growing Outpatient Surgery and Endoscopy business
  • Provide procedural sedation for patients undergoing endoscopy procedures for both the AOC and Asante Three Rivers Medical Center (ATRMC)

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing, preferred

Experience

  • Recent Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) / ICU experience preferred
  • Recent Procedural RN Sedation preferred

License/Certification

  • RN: Registered Nurse licensed by Oregon State Board of Nursing required upon start
  • BLS: Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider certified through the American Heart Association (AHA) required upon start
  • ACLS: Advanced Cardiac Life Support certified through the American Heart Association (AHA) within 4 months of hire date
  • PALS: Pediatric Advanced Life Support certified by American Heart Association (AHA) required within 6 months of hire date
  • CAPA: Certified Ambulatory Perianesthesia Nurse, preferred (for AOC PACU)
