Additional Position Details: FTE: 1.000000 | Full Time | Primarily Mon - Fri / 8AM - 5PM

Position Summary

The Imaging Scheduling Representative schedules and pre-registers patients for services as requested. Responsibilities include obtaining current demographic, insurance and other information required by third-party payers and working collaboratively with referrals, authorizations, and financial screening teams to ensure all necessary pre-authorizations have been secured, nonemergent procedures have been financially cleared, and patients are apprised of their financial obligations before the date of service.

Qualifications

• Healthcare related insurance, scheduling, front desk, or comparable experience is required
• Associate Degree in business or healthcare related field, preferred
• CHAA: Certified Healthcare Access Associate, preferred
