Position Summary
The ITS Logistics Coordinator (Move and Inventory Coordinator) is responsible for coordinating staff moves with ITS equipment implications Asante enterprise wide with departments and vendors. Responsibilities include facilitating spare and repair parts purchasing, receiving, and inventory management for most ITS supported systems deployed to customers, including PCs, Laptops, WOWs, Printers, Barcode Scanners, Mobile Devices, Timeclocks, and more. The Coordinator also serves as backup to the ITS Department Specialist position responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure Asante-wide moves are executed timely and completely for continued business continuity and high customer satisfaction.
- Track and update moves using the Asante ITSM.
- Manage the inventory and ordering of spare and repair parts for most ITS supported systems deployed to customers, including PCs, Laptops, WOWs, Printers, Barcode Scanners, Mobile Devices, Timeclocks, etc.
- Coordinate smaller ITS projects to include organizing, coordinating, and managing the project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures of assigned projects.
- Ensure all project deadlines are met and provide project status updates.
- Organize, attend, and participate in stakeholder meetings and document and follow up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
Position Qualifications
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience is required - with at least 1 year of business experience in a variety of administrative, coordination and support functions including monitoring and tracking vendors and projects; and at least 1 year in an IT or IS environment.
Education
- Associate's degree with emphasis in business administration, or the equivalent in experience and education (such as 2 additional years of relevant experience if no degree), is required.
- Bachelor's degree, or the equivalent in experience and education, preferred.
Licensure/Certifications
- Possession of a valid Driver's License with proof of safe driving record for the past ten years and proof of auto insurance is required. Must obtain Oregon Driver's License within 30 days of moving to Oregon (if applicable).
- One of the following, or other computer-related certifications, are preferred: A+, MCP, HCI CSS, or HCI HDA.
Other Skills and Abilities
- Proven phone and customer service skills and skilled in the use of and support of Microsoft Windows in a domain joined environment.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to solve problems and prioritize customer requests even with multiple interruptions.
- Ability to process incidents, follow up on open orders, and to make effective determinations based on information provided.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to represent the ITS Department to internal and external customers in professional, positive manner.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
