Rehab Tech APP (Work Performance)

Additional Position Details: Flexible Workforce | .3 FTE | 12 hours per week

Position Summary

The Rehabilitation Technician provides support to licensed staff through a variety of activities, including assisting in delivery of therapy services; set up and clean-up of workspaces; and performing miscellaneous tasks to improve therapist productivity. Also performs inventory control and orders supplies.

Qualifications

Education

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience demonstrating the ability to effectively communicate as needed for the position is required

Experience

  • Previous patient care experience highly desired

Licensure/Certifications

  • BLS: Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider certified through the American Heart Association (AHA) is required upon start
  • EMT: Emergency Medical Technician, preferred
  • CCMA: Certified Medical Assistant or equivalent, preferred
