Additional Position Details: FTE: 0.9 | Full Time | 2nd Shift - Swing | Hours are 1:30pm to 11:00pm and will include some weekdays as well as working every other weekend on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. For candidates that prefer working the weekends - working every Fri/Sat/Sun would be an option as well.

Position Summary

The Staffing Specialist for Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center (ARRMC) provides concierge level customer service ensuring appropriate daily staffing needs for clinical staff in designated patient care units in accordance with departmental procedures and staffing guidelines. Responsible to maintain open communication with hospital units to quickly identify staffing needs and adjust schedules quickly and efficiently to provide adequate coverage. Must be able to make independent decisions when determining appropriate staffing assignments considering various employee skills/competencies and the financial impact of those decisions. Must accurately document track employee attendance and coding within MyAsante time document for leadership referral. Also responsible to make electronic timecard adjustments to ensure the employee is paid correctly, and that hours are charged to the correct department cost center. Requires working knowledge and application of RN union contract and various HR policies including but not limited to, Attendance, ETO, and Leave of Absence. Responsible for solicitation for staff, required by OHA when shifts are short staffed and documentation of solicitation.

Position Qualifications

Experience

  • 3 years customer service-related experience in a fast paced, demanding environment is required.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office suite and scheduling systems highly desired.

Education

  • Associates degree in related field, preferred.
