Position Summary

The Nuclear Medicine RN is an integral part of evaluating cardiac health in Asante's patient population. The RN will be part of the hospital's Nuclear Medicine department and will work closely with Nuclear Techs and Cardiac Tech Aides.

As a Nuclear Medicine RN at Asante, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Utilize the Nursing Process to identify and resolve problems within the scope of practice
  • Perform nursing duties as designated through policies, procedures, protocols, orders, and patient plan of care including managing and coordinating the activities required for the delivery of safe patient care
  • Demonstrate nursing excellence in practice through self-directed behavior using critical thinking
  • Participate in education and performance improvement activities to provide a quality service and keep current with industry changes

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's in nursing (BSN) preferred

Experience

  • Imaging experience, preferred
  • Moderate sedation experience, preferred

License/Certification

  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensed by the Oregon State Board of Nursing required upon start
  • Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) certified through the American Heart Association (AHA) required upon start
  • ACLS: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support required upon start
