Position Summary

The Care Technician for Immediate Care provides care to patients in Immediate Care under the direction of the RN, FNP, PA, or MD and works as a team member to help promote the functioning of the immediate care.

Position Requirements

• Work or training in the medical field, required
• BLS: Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider certified by American Heart Association (AHA), required
• AEMT: Advanced Emergency Medical Technician OR EMT: Emergency Medical Technician both certified by the OHA (Oregon Health Authority), required

• EMT-P: Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic (National or Oregon) certified by the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians or OHA (Oregon Health Authority), preferred
