Development Coordinator - Foundation

The posted range for this position is $55,702.00 - $76,627.00 annually.

Position Summary

Asante Foundation serves the philanthropic arm of Asante Health System. The Development Coordinator strategically coordinates all support activities and projects for the directors of development. Reporting to senior foundation leadership, the Development Coordinator contributes to the overall fundraising performance of the development team by preparing frontline fundraisers for successful donor interactions and by tracking and reporting team productivity to senior leadership.

Occasional hours outside of normal work hours for meetings or programs is expected. Some local travel may be necessary.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree - or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in administrative support, or project or event coordination.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting a senior staff or executive position.
  • Working knowledge of Raiser's edge or similar database.

  • Ability to develop, organize, implement, maintain office procedures and systems.

  • Ability to develop, organize and implement office procedures and systems along with strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to identify creative solutions that work and fall within constraints (time, budget, quality).
  • Ability to coordinate and manage various projects and tasks while regularly consulting with appropriate sources to ascertain status of projects in progress and troubleshooting, making adjustments, and meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to work well with others in a dynamic & interdependent team environment.
