*This position is in our Psychiatric Care Unit and coverage in Behavioral Health Unit. No weekends required but some shift flexibility needed.

POSITION SUMMARY

Within the framework of social work values, knowledge and method, the Social Worker provides services to patients and their families in relation to social and emotional problems so that medical care is fully utilized, social and emotional functioning is enhanced, and quality of life is improved. Also participates in interdisciplinary and interagency collaboration and consultation.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • Master of Social Work is required

Experience

  • 2 years of social work practice, or student practicum, is required

Certifications

  • ODL: Possession of a valid Oregon Driver's License may be required, with proof of safe driving record for the past 10 years, and proof of insurance
  • LCSW: Licensed Clinical Social Worker, preferred
  • LMSW: Licensed Master's Social Worker, preferred
