Certified Nursing Assistant 1 - Medical Surgical Bridge Program

CNA Bridge Program

Looking to get your career started in Healthcare? Asante wants to help you! All you need is to either be enrolled in a CNA1 course or have your CNA1 already! From there, Asante will hire you into one of our five Medical Surgical departments at either our Ashland, Medford, or Grants Pass hospital!

The five departments you have to choose from are:

  • General Medicine
  • Ortho Neuro
  • Medical Oncology
  • Cardiac Center
  • Post-Surgical

Start interviewing for CNA1 roles as soon as you know when your CNA1 course is scheduled for! From there, all you need to start on the floor at Asante is your CNA1 license to be posted to the OSBN website. Once you've started your role, you can expect to train and work on your floor for 4-6 weeks. At that point, Asante will support and pay for you to attend a CNA2 class. Not only is the course free to you, but Asante will pay you your hourly wage while you're in class so you can focus solely on school! You will not be expected to work your normal shifts, all you need to do is attend class for two weeks!

Once you've successfully earned your CNA2, you will be promoted into a CNA2 role, which comes with a pay increase! But don't stop here, keep advancing with the help of Asante!
