POSITION SUMMARY
The Registered Dietitian Specialist provides comprehensive Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) for patients per the Nutrition Care Process (NCP) including assessing, determining nutritional diagnosis(es), determining intervention(s), and monitoring and evaluating progress and/or outcome(s). May provide nutrition and population health services to patients in an outpatient setting. Working with a team of healthcare professionals, the Registered Dietitian Specialist will lead integration of nutrition, wellness, population health and behavior change strategies with a goal to improve the health and well-being of a population.
