The Nurse Navigator coordinates diagnostic and treatment processes and follows up at assigned Asante facility(s). In this role, the Navigator guides patients and their families through the continuum of care and collaborative process with medical care providers and ancillary support programs; acts as a central point of contact for all medical care providers working with the patient, and facilitates evidence based nursing care; assesses educational needs and designs, teaches and/or coordinates educational programs for patients, families and the community; provide oncology education, follow up and assistance for other oncology patients as needed.

Asante Three Rivers Medical Center (ATRMC) in Grants Pass is a community hospital that offers a wide range of high-quality medical care to residents of Southern Oregon. The 125-bed hospital combines the small hospital feel with the high-tech capabilities of a modern facility.

As we continue to expand our medical services to meet the needs of our community, one area we are focused on is expanding and improving the state of cancer care. Our transformative efforts include the Spears Cancer Center in Grants Pass and the Heimann Cancer Center in Medford, both opened January 2022. Some of our advanced services will include, infusion services, radiation oncology , on site lab services, dedicated oncology pharmacy services, CT services and more.



  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing, or equivalent combination of education and experience, is required
  • Master's Degree in Nursing, preferred


  • 3 years of clinical Infusion/Oncology nursing experience, preferred
  • Knowledge of Infusion/Oncology, preferred
  • Excellent communication/teaching skills, required


  • RN: Registered Nurse licensed by Oregon State Board of Nursing is required upon start
  • BLS: Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider certified by the American Heart Association (AHA) is required upon start
