POSITION SUMMARY

The Staff Assistant 3 for Asante Physician Partners independently performs a variety of administrative functions for a department, program, or project including all or part of the following: Create and edit letters, forms, presentations and documents using word processing, database, spreadsheet or similar programs; collect data and develop and generate reports to support department functions; schedule patients and customers for various department services, including tests and procedures (if supporting a clinical unit); coordinate meetings and events including location, participants, agenda and minutes; may analyze data and identify trends related to reimbursements, charges, accounts, etc.; may provide training for other administrative staff; and perform other duties to support the program(s) and/or department such as transcription, auditing, department software maintenance, preparation of invoices, check requests, travel requests, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience demonstrating the ability to effectively communicate as needed for the position is required
  • Associates degree, preferred

Experience

  • Minimum 4 years of advanced level administrative work including planning, coordination, and implementation of projects with minimal supervision is required
  • Minimum 3 years of demonstrated experience with Adobe and Microsoft programs; including: Adobe Pro, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Excel is required
  • Experience with Microsoft Visio is preferred
  • Previous experience in healthcare is preferred

Certifications

  • ODL: Possession of a valid Oregon Driver's License with proof of safe driving record for the past ten years and proof of insurance may be required
