Asante Three Rivers Medical Center, located in Grants Pass, Oregon, is a 125-bed modern facility combining leading-edge technology with holistic healing principles. Patient rooms at Three Rivers are secluded from higher traffic areas of the hospital and feature a central "healing garden" on the third floor to promote privacy and tranquility.

POSITION SUMMARY

Our Pre-Op Clinic RN at Asante Three Rivers Medical Center provides quality education to our patients prior to surgical procedures via phone or in clinic visits. Responsibilities include patient chart review, history intake, physical assessment, teaching and collaboration with surgical and subspecialty team to prepare patients for surgery/procedure. This position requires strong communication, critical thinking, organizational and multi-tasking skills in fast paced setting.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred

Experience

  • Experience in an acute care environment is required
  • Previous experience in Pre-Op and/or PACU preferred

License/Certification

  • RN: Registered Nurse licensed by Oregon State Board of Nursing required upon start
  • BLS: Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider certified through the American Heart Association (AHA) required upon start
