Position Summary

The Simulation Operations and Technology Coordinator is responsible for providing system-wide administration, analysis, training, support and operations of Simulation equipment and programs to Asante and its network partners. The Coordinator is responsible for operating sophisticated medical simulation technologies and supporting the overall operations of the simulation rooms, high-fidelity manikins, web-based evaluation tools and audio-visual equipment. Also works collaboratively with Nursing Professional Development practitioners to provide inter-professional training with a focus on teamwork, communication, and the delivery of high-quality patient care that supports an optimal patient experience and collaborative work environment.

Qualifications

Education

• Associate's Degree in Computer Science, Allied Health, or related field is required

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of clinical or IT experience providing a working knowledge of training programs is required
• Experience with technology-based simulation and or training and development modules highly desired

Preferred Certifications

• CHSOS: Certified Healthcare Simulation Operations Specialist by the Society for Simulation in Healthcare (SSH)
• Certificate in Simulation from Drexel University
