POSITION SUMMARY

The Pharmacy Clerk 2 may be responsible for assisting customers, receiving in freight, maintaining and correcting inventory counts, requesting medication and stock orders, checking for and removing expired medication from stock, and assisting with transferring medications to other locations. The Pharmacy Clerk 2 is also responsible for filing paperwork appropriately, delivering medications, supporting the pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience demonstrating the ability to effectively communicate as needed for the position is required

Experience

• Prior customer service or inventory related experience is required
• Previous pharmacy or clerk experience, preferred
