Additional Position Details: Flexible Workforce/on-call position. Variable schedule.

Salary: Starting at $36.79 an hour and up (based on qualifications and years of experience in the field). This Flexible Workforce position also pays an additional 15% on top of the base hourly rate. Plus, you will earn extra shift differentials for swing, night, and weekend hours:

  • $2.02 extra for working between 3:00pm - 11:00pm
  • $4.50 extra for working between 11:01pm and 7:00am
  • $1.87 extra for working weekends

All our technicians are highly trained, exceeding state requirements with advanced certifications in MRI, CT, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, and bone density scanning. Our imaging program is supervised by a board-certified radiologist who works directly with technicians at the hospital to interpret test results and offer guidance on complex cases.

The Mammography Tech/Radiologic Tech 2 at Asante Ashland Women's Imaging Center performs diagnostic mammography and screening studies as directed, according to established standards and practices. Duties are delegated in relation to the degree of training and in accordance with the policies of Asante and respective to state laws governing such action and activities. Various mammographic procedures used in diagnosis and treatment of disease, requiring independent and professional judgment, according to established standards and practices.

What You Must Have

  • BLS: Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider certified by the American Heart Association (AHA) is required upon start.
  • Licensed in Radiography by the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) required.

ONE of the following is required:

  • Licensed in Radiography by the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) with certification in Computed Tomography (CT).
  • Licensed in Radiography by the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) with certification in Mammography (M).
  • In lieu of a modality certification in (CT) or (M), incumbent must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in special procedures.

PLEASE NOTE: If the license by the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) is in transition of renewal, the certification part of the license may need to be verified by the appropriate national agency: ARRT, ARDMS, ARMRIT, CCI or NMTCB.

Additional Position Specific Requirements:

  • CT or Mammography sub-specialty certification - OR - 10 years additional experience in special procedures will be waived for AACH ESWL Tech.
  • Completed Extracorporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy (ESWL) booklet and packet training.
  • Completed Operator Training Checklist.
  • Performed 20 supervised ESWL cases with all department competencies met or exceeded.
