POSITION SUMMARY

In this role, the Occupational Therapist provides lymphedema therapy services to populations of patients with cancer related lymphedema in an outpatient setting as part of a team of OTs with a variety of specialties.

OUR ENVIRONMENT

We are a well-established department with a strong supportive referral base of predominantly surgeons, oncologists, and radiation oncologists but also PCPs. Our Leadership team values the Lymphedema service and supports learning and growth. Our treatment sessions are 60 minutes in a beautiful work environment. You will work alongside a certified Lymphedema therapist with 20 years experience in the field. We work alongside a skilled Occupational therapy team, and have good working relationship with the orthotic service for garment fittings. Our current Lymphedema practice is focused on cancer related treatment.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy is required
  • Completion of the American Occupational Therapy National Exam required
Experience
  • One year of Occupational Therapy
Licensure/Certifications
  • BLS: Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider certified through the American Heart Association (AHA) is required upon start
  • Lymphedema Certification | 135 hours of course work in Lymphedema
