Asante Ashland Community Hospital, Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center and Asante Three Rivers Medical Center are officially accredited with the National Integrated Accreditation for Healthcare Organizations (NIAHO), DNV’s hospital accreditation program.
This accreditation recognizes that our hospitals meet the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid standards as well as ISO 9001 Standards for the formation and implementation of a quality management system.
For the 10th year in a row, Asante has been named a 15 Top Health System in the nation by Merative (formerly IBM Watson Health), which recognizes the top performing health systems in the nation. Asante is the only health system in the country to achieve this milestone!
Merative evaluated the clinical outcomes, operational efficiency and patient experiences of 349 health systems and 3,206 hospitals that are members of health systems.
Asante has been consistently named among the top employers in the state of Oregon. The American Association of Critical Care Nurses recognized the Coronary Care Unit at Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center with the gold Beacon Award for Excellence for 2016 through 2019.
The Heart Center at Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center was also recognized with a silver Beacon Award for Excellence in 2017.
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services announced its 2021 Overall Hospital Quality Star Ratings, and all three Asante hospitals earned five stars — the highest rating awarded. Asante Ashland Community Hospital, Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center and Asante Three Rivers Medical Center accounted for three of the 10 Oregon hospitals to achieve a five-star rating. Nationally, only 13.5 percent of eligible Medicare-certified hospitals have earned this distinction.
