Asante hospitals awarded the CMS five-star quality rating

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services announced its 2023 Overall Hospital Quality Star Ratings, and Asante hospitals in Medford and Grants Pass earned five stars — the highest rating awarded. Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center and Asante Three Rivers Medical Center accounted for two of the five Oregon hospitals to achieve a five-star rating. Nationally, only 13.5 percent of eligible Medicare-certified hospitals have earned this distinction.

Pathway to Excellence®

Asante Three Rivers received the Pathway to Excellence® designation in 2024 for the fourth time from the American Nurses Credentialing Center. The hospital is one of only two in Oregon to achieve this honor, and one of only 23 hospitals worldwide to have achieved the designation three or more times. The Pathway to Excellence designation recognizes health care organizations that have made a commitment to creating a nursing practice environment that empowers and engages staff.

DNV GL Healthcare accreditation

Asante Ashland Community Hospital, Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center and Asante Three Rivers Medical Center are officially accredited with the National Integrated Accreditation for Healthcare Organizations (NIAHO), DNV’s hospital accreditation program.

This accreditation recognizes that our hospitals meet the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid standards as well as ISO 9001 Standards for the formation and implementation of a quality management system.
